YELLO Equipment™ End-of-Year Report

As 2024 comes to a close, we’re proud to reflect on a year of growth, strengthened relationships, and significant milestones that have set the stage for an exciting 2025. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our hardworking team and the trust of our loyal customers.  

Let’s take a look back at the highlights of this incredible year and share what’s on the horizon. 

2024 

Team Growth 

This year, we were thrilled to welcome exceptional new talent to the YELLO™ team. Michael Hosking came aboard as General Manager for New South Wales and his leadership in this region is already making an impact, enhancing operations and customer service for our NSW clients. We also warmly welcomed back Matt Apps as Sales Representative for Sydney North. Sean Cade has joined the NSW team as Sales Representative for Sydney South, while Shaun Megson has transitioned from Preston Hire to strengthen our NSW after-sales team as a Service Technician.  

Over in Queensland, Taylor Cue joined our sales team, bringing enthusiasm and a commitment to mastering the SANY product line, while Adam Eichmann strengthened our after-sales support as a skilled service technician. These team additions reflect our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. 

Trade Show Success 

Trade shows continued to be a cornerstone of our strategy, allowing us to showcase our equipment and connect with new and existing customers: 

  • At the National Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo, held at Sydney Dragway, we teamed up with SANY-Putzmeister to display our extensive machinery lineup. Attendees loved activities like our photo booth and SANY Explorer challenge. 
  • The Primex Field Days in Casino, NSW, marked its 40th year, providing an excellent platform to engage with the agricultural sector. 
  • FarmFest Field Days in Toowoomba, QLD, helped us solidify connections within the farming community during our third year of participation. 
  • Tocal Field Days gave us the opportunity to meet local farmers and industry professionals, demonstrating how our equipment meets their specific needs. 
  • Murrumbateman Field Days provided an excellent opportunity to connect with farmers, contractors, and industry professionals in the region. 

These events have strengthened our relationships with customers while growing awareness of YELLO Equipment™ and the SANY brand. 

China Trip 

In November, we traveled to China with several VIP key account customers for an unforgettable experience. Visiting SANY’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities allowed our customers to see firsthand the precision and innovation behind every SANY machine, deepening their trust in the brand. 

The trip wasn’t all business – we also enjoyed karaoke nights and sampling local delicacies! Additionally, attending Bauma China, one of the world’s premier construction machinery trade fairs, provided valuable insights into industry trends, which we’re excited to bring back to YELLO™ operations. 

After-Sales Support 

Over last six months, we’ve seen a significant number of SANY machines arriving on job sites across Australia, where they’re helping customers achieve greater efficiency and reliability. The creative campaigns of our Marketing team have continued to build momentum in immediate sales and in the building of our sales pipeline, promising an equally strong 2025.  

At YELLO™, we know that our relationship with customers doesn’t end with a sale. Our after-sales service has been a top priority, and we’re proud of the strides we’ve made in our parts and service division. Expanding these capabilities will remain a focus in 2025 to ensure every customer feels supported for the long haul. 

Looking Ahead to 2025 

As we look to the year ahead, we’re excited about the opportunities on the horizon. We’re committed to meeting the needs of different markets with our reliable, high-quality, and well-priced equipment. Trade shows will remain central to our strategy, and after this year’s successes, we’re planning to expand our presence even further in 2025. 

Reflecting on this year fills us with immense pride. The dedication of our team and the trust of our customers have been the foundation of our success, and for that, we’re deeply grateful.
